Jon Dick is an award-winning senior creative and copywriter. His work has been internationally recognized by such festivals as Cannes, One Show, Clios, Communication Arts, as well as every major award show in Canada. Jon’s work has even been immortalized on Wikipedia. According to Strategy’s Creative Report Card, he is the 81st top copywriter in the country. He believes that isn’t good enough.

A defining aspect of his work is innovation. He’s created the world’s first breast cancer screening tools for Black women, turned corn into music for the first time ever, and established the first lifeguards for skin. His firsts are intended to last.

His work for The Stage Zero Collection directly contributed to McCann winning bronze at the Agency of the Year awards last year – the agency’s first placement on the podium in 23 years. A week later, he won the agency its first gold trophy since 2009. Recently, The Stage Zero Collection won McCann its first-ever Grand Prix at the SIAs. Most importantly, Jon’s work persuaded the government of Ontario to lower the breast cancer screening age.

Jon has been called passionate, relentless, and intense by his peers and mentors. His love for ideas is matched by his ambition to make everyone around him famous.

Jon is a published poet and a soon-to-be-published author, and clearly has a lot of chutzpah.
