Love & Nudes is famous for its collection of darker skin tones. But while the lingerie brand was accounting for Black bodies, healthcare’s governing bodies were falling behind. The breast cancer screening age was 50, yet Black women begin to show symptoms as early as 40. So, we created The Stage Zero Collection for Love & Nudes — the world’s first breast cancer self-examination bra attachments, in a range of skin tones, with medically accurate symptoms. We then successfully lobbied the government to lower the breast cancer screening age in an effort to save more lives.
